Prof Leonid Churilov

Leonid is Professor of Biostatistics at Melbourne Medical School, University of Melbourne. He obtained his PhD in Operations Research in 1998 at the University of Melbourne. He actively collaborates both nationally and internationally across pre-clinical, clinical, imaging, and service evaluation studies in the areas of stroke, epilepsy, mental health, MS, diabetes, oncology, and anesthesia. Leonid is a current co-chair of Australasian Stroke Trials Network. 

His research interests include methodology in clinical trials (adaptive clinical trials, design and analysis of early phase studies, ordinal outcomes in clinical trials, non-pharmaceutical complex interventions) and simulation and modelling for decision support in clinical and health systems.
