Prof. Lyle Gurrin

Lead Investigator

Lyle Gurrin is Professor of Biostatistics at the Centre for Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, and President of the Victorian Branch of the Statistical Society of Australia. He teaches biostatistics to coursework and research higher degree students of mathematics, epidemiology and population health, and collaborates widely on cohort studies seeking to identify genetic and environmental modifiers of common, chronic allergic and metabolic diseases of both early and later life. His research interests in statistics include methods for longitudinal & correlated data, causal inference and mediation analysis in observational studies.
