Congratulations to Lizzie (Elizabeth) Korevaar who has been awarded $6,000 as part of the University of Melbourne Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences Early Career Academic Conference Support Scheme. This scheme generated a high amount of interest and received overwhelmingly high-quality applications in the current round. The competitive application process involved the submission of both a written proposal and the delivery a 3-minute oral presentation - without slides or props.

With this support, Lizzie will attend the Society for Research Synthesis Methodology Annual meeting in Crete, Greece in June and present a talk on her work on a statistical simulation study comparing meta-analysis methods for rare outcomes.
