Congratulations are extended to the following 4 ViCBiostat Team members:

PhD student Ms Cattram Nguyen has been awarded the Student Conference Award to attend the 34th ISCB Meeting in Munich, Germany in August 2013. It was awarded by the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics and includes the payment of all conference fees, travel and accomodation costs and a per-diem.

Dr Sophie Zaloumis has been awarded the TModNet (Tropical Diseases Modelling Network) Visiting Fellows Scheme for 2013 and has been awarded 3000 UK pounds to visit the Mahidol-Oxford Research Unit in Bangkok.

Dr Alysha De Livera was awarded a travel scholarship to attend the international Metabolomics conference in Glasgow in July 2013.

PhD student Ms Laura Rodwell has been awarded an AEA (Australasian Epidemiology Association) student conference award to offset travel costs to attend the AEA Conference in Brisbane in October this year. The prize will be presented as part of the AGM held during the conference.
