Paper awarded the 2015 Distinguished Article in Health Communication from the National Communication Association, US.

An article published in the American Journal of Public Health on "The impact of tobacco control policies and mass media campaigns on monthly adult smoking prevalence" which was co-authored by ViCBiostat Chief Investigator Associate Professor Julie Simpson with collaborators from The Cancer Council of Victoria has been awarded the 2015 Distinguished Article in Health Communication from the National Communication Association in the United States. This award is given annually for a published paper that has made a significant contribution to scholarship in health communication theory, research and/or practice.
