Meg Tully Wins Best Oral Presentation at International Women in Statistics Showcase

At the International Day of Women in Statistics and Data Science (IDWSDS) PhD Showcase, Meg was awarded Best Oral Presentation, earning a $500 prize sponsored by the Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics, Monash Business School.
The showcase, held on October 14, 2025, featured three selected PhD candidates presenting their research to an international audience. Meg’s presentation "Evaluation of a pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic model for predicting parasitological outcomes in Phase 2 studies of new antimalarial drugs" impressed the expert selection committee with its clarity, impact, and contribution to advancing statistical science.
