Jiaxin Zhang awarded the ISCB 2023 Student Conference Award
Congratulations to Jiaxin who has been awarded one of only five Student Conference Awards for ISCB2023.
Her paper, titled "Sensitivity analysis methods for outcome missingness assumptions in causal inference: accommodating the substantive analysis” (co-authors Ghazaleh Dashti, John Carlin, Katherine Lee and Margarita Moreno-Betancur) will be presented in a dedicated session at the conference and the award acknowledged in the Conference Programme.
The ISCB will be supporting Jiaxin to attend in person by covering her travel costs and waiving her registration fees for the conference and a pre-conference course. After commencing her PhD in late 2020, with limited options for in-person conference attendance during the COVID-19 pandemic, this will be a wonderful opportunity for Jiaxin and is well-deserved recognition of the work she has undertaken.
