Congratulations to Jess Kasza who has been appointed as Co-Editor of Biometrics for a three-year term, commencing in 2026.
Published on behalf of the International Biometric Society, Biometrics focuses on the advancement of statistical and mathematical methodologies in the biosciences. The journal’s mission is to foster the development, refinement, and application of quantitative methods across core biological disciplines. Articles focus on real-world scientific or policy-driven problems that motivate methodological innovation, and provide rigorous demonstrations of new techniques in practice.
Jess has contributed to several journals as an Associate Editor, including Clinical Trials (since 2020), British Journal of Anaesthesia (since 2021), Australian and New Zealand Journal of Statistics (beginning in 2025), and Biometrics (since 2021).
