Dr Kelsey Grantham Honoured with ECR Excellence Award

We are thrilled to celebrate Dr Kelsey Grantham, who was recently honoured with the prestigious Early Career Researcher (ECR) Excellence Award at the Monash School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine’s annual Excellence Awards. This award recognises outstanding scientific contributions made by an early career researcher over the past five years.

Despite being less than five years post-PhD, Kelsey has swiftly established herself as a rising star on the global stage. Her pioneering work on the statistical theory underpinning novel "staircase" trial designs is already transforming clinical trials in Australia and internationally. This impactful research has earned her multiple invitations to present to global audiences, cementing her reputation as an innovative leader in biostatistics.

"I’m thrilled to receive the 2025 ECR Excellence Award, and am grateful to my mentors, Professors Jess Kasza and Andrew Forbes, for their incredible support over my research career so far."
