ARC Discovery Project to develop highly efficient stepped-wedge cluster trials

Dr Jessica Kasza

Congratulations to Dr Jessica Kasza of Monash University on the award of her ARC Discovery Project, titled "Increasing the efficiency and interpretability of stepped wedge cluster randomised trials".

Dr Kasza and her co-investigators Professor Andrew Forbes (Monash University), Professor Richard Hooper (Queen Mary University London), Professor Jim Hughes (University of Washington), and Dr Schadrac Agbla (University of Liverpool) will develop highly efficient cluster trial designs that share the benefits of the stepped wedge, and new methods for the estimation of causally interpretable effects when adherence to interventions is imperfect. These new trial designs and methods will allow more interventions to be tested and understood.
