ViCBiostat Summer School 2016

Workshop

STATISTICAL METHODS IN MEDICINE AND PUBLIC HEALTH

This year we are taking our Summer School on the road, with a two-day program in Adelaide, followed by a five-day program in Melbourne.  Each program is designed to provide an intensive introduction to a range of intermediate to advanced statistical methods that are important in modern health research. The courses will include extensive discussion of practical examples and hands-on training in relevant statistical software using the Stata and R packages.

Who should attend?
These courses are suitable for quantitative epidemiologists and applied statisticians working in health research. You should have some background and experience in the common methods of biostatistics including multivariable linear and logistic regression. The computer practical sessions will assume participants have experience with using Stata or R.
