Post-doctoral Biostatistician

Dulari Hakamuwa Lekamlage completed her PhD in Computational Biology at the Queensland University of Technology in 2022. As a Research Fellow in Biostatistics, she works with Associate Professor Agus Salim (Centre for Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health) and Professor Peter Meikle (Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute) to develop cardiovascular disease risk prediction models combining lipidomic and traditional
risk factors, as well as providing statistical support to collaborators at the Baker Institute. Her current research interest includes analysing high-dimensional omics data, wearable device-based data analysis, and developing cardiovascular disease risk prediction models.
